Solid Wood Tops initial offering back in March 2019 was a solid wood desk top to pair with the IKEA Skarsta under frame. A year later and we have expanded our range to include all sit/stand desks that IKEA produce, as well as making tops for standard IKEA desks, and big names in the sit/stand world such as Uplift, Furna and Lundia on request. As of May 2020 we are delighted to offer custom sized, bespoke hand made tops for all ConSet brand desk frames.
Why ConSet?
After exploring the market, we felt that ConSet would be a perfect match for Solid Wood Tops. As one of the first brands on the electric sit/stand desk scene (way back in 2000), they have consistently produced high quality products.
One of their USPs is their ethos on furniture modification. In this respect they are completely opposite to IKEA desks. A ConSet desk can be modified extensively to fit your needs. The final reason Solid Wood Tops have started offering tops dedicated to the ConSet range is because of their design decisions when it comes to manufacturing their high density MDF tops. Due to the limitless possibilities of frame combinations, ConSet do not pre drill their MDF table tops. Rather, fitting is with self tapping wood screws that are supplied with the frame. We can offer the exact same user experience, but with our premium, solid wood desk tops, hand made to your exact specification.

Instead of pre-defining desk top sizes (as per our IKEA compatible table tops) and allowing customers to request modifications, we felt it in keeping with the ConSet ethos to offer immediate purchase of custom size tops through our table top calculator.
